New distributor for Mexico

The company GEORG SCHLEGEL GmbH & Co. KG increases its activities in the Americas: A new distributorship has been established with a company in Mexico. From now on, the company NEXON Technologies will supply this Central American country with pushbuttons & switches, bus systems and emergency-stop solutions from Dürmentingen. NEXON is the 49th international distributor for SCHLEGEL.

"Mexico is one of the most important markets in Central America. Therefore we are glad that we have found a competent and knowledgeable partner for our products in NEXON Technologies", emphasises SCHLEGEL´s sales manager Wolfgang Zoll.

NEXON Technologies has already been acting successfully as a distributor for 20 years. The renowned company is selling products for machine building, electrotechnics as well as automation solution and represents more than 20 manufacturers of this sector - global companies like ABB, General Electrics - Industrial solutions, Phoenix Contact or Mitsubishi Electric are among them. NEXON Technologies is mainly operating in four industrial zones for which they also will act as SCHLEGEL´s distributor: Coahuila, Queretaro, Puebla and San Luis Potosi.

NEXON´s managing director, Lenin Lucho, is very glad about the partnership: "I am confident that our cooperation in Mexico will be very successful. Our sales managers are happy about this new brand in our portfolio."

Until now, the Mexican market was handled via the distributor in the US. SCHLEGEL´s export manager Ulrike Lemke hopes for positive impulses thanks to the improved market proximity and the direct access to the customers.

This new partnership is part of the new positioning process on the American market. In the future, SCHLEGEL is aiming for more distributors and completely restructure its sales activities on this continent. Sergio Quiceno, who is working for SCHLEGEL since February as export manager for North and South America, has very good contacts in this region and has taken over this task.
