SCHLEGEL achieves ISO 14001 certification

Sustainable, environmentally responsible practice is a core part of SCHLEGEL's corporate strategy — and that commitment now carries an official seal of approval. The company has successfully certified its environmental management system to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015.

The certification rests on a comprehensive energy audit and a company-wide calculation of SCHLEGEL's carbon footprint. Building on those findings, SCHLEGEL further developed its environmental management system. The audit focused on environmentally sound processes across the board, from energy use to waste management, with the goal of continuously monitoring — and improving — resource consumption.

„Sustainability matters more and more to our customers. A certified environmental management system gives us transparency and shows we take this seriously," the company says.

The certification is reviewed annually and undergoes a full reassessment every three years — SCHLEGEL's way of ensuring environmental responsibility isn't a one-off project, but a lasting part of how the company operates.
