Pilot light with M12 and RGBW LED

New products in the Shortron connect series

New pilot lights with M12 connection: GEORG SCHLEGEL has redesigned their pilot lights and equipped them with RGBW SMD LEDs for the Shortron connect series. The illumination and colour intensity is more homogeneous and brighter.

Pilot lights enable a quick and definitive determination of operating, warning and fault signals. The new pilot light RGBW_C183 can display the signals of machine status in the six standard colours red, green, blue, yellow, magenta and cyan as well as true white. This means the white colour is not realised by mixing red, green and blue, but generated by a separate, white LED.

But there is even more: If the pilot light is being controlled with a PWM signal, it is not only possible to get the standard colours, but also additional mixed colours from the whole RGB colour range.

The connection is provided via a M12 connector, as for the other products from the Shortron connect series. The connector has 5 poles and is A coded. With this, the control units can be connected easily and safely and the cabling effort is low.

The pilot light is made for 22.3 mm mounting holes. When the M12 connection is plugged in, the degree of protection is IP65 and IP67 from both the front and the rear. Thus, it is dust proof, resistant to hose water and can withstand temporary sumbersion. This makes it also suitable for rough industrial environments.

Operating voltage is 24 V. The temperature range is between –25 °C and +70 °C for single LED colours and between –25 °C and +50 °C for RGB mixed operation. Front bezels are available in silver, black and stainless steel.
