The new variants QRUVOOI_C0232 and QRBUVOOI_C0232 both have 1 NO and 2 NC contacts and an 8-pole M12 connector. The difference between them is only the anti-lock collar that is part of QRBUVOOI_C0232. It prevents for example clothing to be hung on the emergency-stop, which would impede the visibility of the switch or potentially block its activation.
If there is no possibility of this risk or only little space is available, then QRUVOOI_C0232 would be the better alternative. The rated operating voltage is 30 V AC/DC each, the rated operating current is 0.5 A AC/DC. The lifetime is up to 50,000 switching cycles.
For the use in hygienic applications
For the use in hygienic applications, QRUVPOO_C0001 has been developed. The degree of protection for this emergency-stop with 2 NC contacts is IP65, IP67 and IP69K in the front and thus is protected against dust, hose water, submersion as well as high pressure and steam-jet cleaning. Here, the connection is provided via a 4-pole M12 connector that can be used with a rated operating voltage of 35 V AC/DC and a rated operating current of 4 A AC resp. 2 A DC.
Compact type
Another compact type without anti-lock collar is QRUVOO_C0001: It also has 2 NC contacts and a 4-pole M12 connector. The lifetime is 50,000 switching cycles. This type, too, has a rated operating voltage of 35 V AC/DC and a rated operating current of 4 A AC and 2 A DC.
All new variants are suitable for an operating temperature range from -30°C to +70°C and have a degree of protection of IP65 on the rear if the M12 connector is plugged in. The NC contacts are with positive opening according to EN 60947-5-1, release is done by twisting left or right. The mounting diameter is uniform with 22.3 mm.
Only little space needed
Despite their robust design, the switches only need little space in the back: The mounting depth is, depending on the variant, between 25.5 and 28.5 mm. Thus, those emergency-stops are also suitable for machines and plants with limited assembly space.
